It’s always exhilarating to send a new edition out into the world, but creating our 10th edition has been a particularly special milestone. Who would have thought that a side project created during the pandemic would grow into what we are now? Reflecting on our history and the time that our team spent crafting the pages you're reading now, we recognize that time serves as a central motif in many of the features of Edition 10. From the revival of Luna Luna Art Fair to David Michalek's homage to 75 years of the New York City Ballet, to Charles Gaines’s decolonizing of historical sensibilities, these narratives rearticulate the past for a new generation. Meanwhile, artists like Rob Pruitt and Pat Steir contemplate the past, present, and futures of their careers, while Ebony Haynes and 52 Walker commemorate their 10th exhibition and the 9 that came before.
